How Mature Organizations Innovate Effectively in the Face of Change

Renewable Innovation is a capability with the explicit goal of commercializing technology-fueled change that is repeatable and scalable across an organization to create sustained, industry-leading growth.

Few organizations would argue with that goal, but innovation maturity doesn’t happen overnight. Long-term changes often require a change in thought patterns, processes, and resource allocation.

In this paper, we explore the key elements of Renewable Innovation and how leading innovators build the foundation of a sustainable program. We also describe an Innovation Maturity Matrix that any organization can use to benchmark its sophistication level.
