In the past two decades, we have witnessed the introduction of a wide range of options companies can use to build their innovation muscles. Some were merely an extension of areas already known to the firm, while others required uncomfortable new efforts that proved valuable, even though they often required more investment than leadership would have liked.
This paper is the first in a series that explores how companies successfully build open innovation practices today.
