Current Job Openings
1. Clinical Director
Minimum requirements:
- Masters or Doctorate in ABA/Psychology/Education related field
- BCBA or BCBA-D
- Minimum 2 years in the field of ABA at supervisory level
- Understanding and utilization of the following treatment models: (1) Applied Behavior Analysis, (2) Evidenced based practices, (3) Strengths-based, and (4) Crisis Prevention/ Intervention
- Knowledge of Regional Center, Health Insurance, and other funding sources preferred
- Flexibility with schedule and operations
Primary responsibilities for the following functions:
- Plans and directs all aspects of Wellspring’s clinical services in an office.
- This position is responsible for ensuring quality therapeutic care to the clients of an individual office while adhering to the federal and state laws as well as the Ethical Standards of the BACB.
- This position is responsible for establishing and monitoring treatment protocols for all clients in an office in accordance with Wellspring’s policies and procedures.
- Review cases to evaluate performance and make clinical recommendations.
- Evaluate effectiveness of services and in collaboration with staff, devises improved techniques of implementation consistent with ethical standards, ABA methodology, and evidence based practices.
- Complete and/or review FBA/FA and progress reports.
- Oversee and/or directly provide group parent training.
2. Clinical Supervisor
Minimum requirements:
- BCBA or BCABA with 2 years experience or more in the field of ABA. Applicants with a Masters Degree in Psychology or Special Education will be considered as well, depending upon experience.
- Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments.
- Demonstrated ability to provide staff training, supervision, and planning.
Primary responsibilities for the following functions:
- Introducing assigned Behavior Therapists to the client.
- Discussing concerns and goals with clients.
- Supervising assigned caseloads.
- Attending IEP meetings.
- Review monthly summaries, graphing of data, and writing progress reports.
- Conducting functional behavior assessments on new referrals.
- Selection and supervision of behavior therapists, including performance evaluations and quality assurance.
- Attending weekly meetings with Coordinators and weekly meetings with assigned Behavior Therapists to review cases and issues.
- Attending yearly ABA-related conferences in order to remain current with research and issues related to the field.
- Conduct trainings for Behavior Therapist.
3. Lead Behavior Therapist
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelors in Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, or related field.
- 2 years experience in the field working with populations served by Wellspring. Persons with less than 2 years experience will be determined on a case by case basis depending on education, references, and experience.
Primary responsibilities for the following functions:
- Reviewing assigned cases and performing all program development with their supervisor.
- Providing direct intervention to clients as per individual programs.
- Providing parent training as per support plans.
- Assist with training of new Behavior Specialists.
- Mentor new Behavior Specialists.
- Procedures which are in accordance with company policy.
- Obtaining up-to-date contact information from clients.
- Attending IEP meetings.
- Entering data and writing monthly summaries.
- Attending weekly meetings with their Program Supervisors and monthly meetings with their Coordinators.
Hours and workdays vary depending on the need of the client. Typically, normal work days and hours for Behavior Specialist positions are Monday through Friday between 8am and 7pm.
4. Behavior Therapist
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelors or Associates in Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, or related field.
- 2 years experience in the field working with populations served by Wellspring. Persons with less than 2 years experience will be determined on a case by case basis depending on education, references, and experience.
Primary responsibilities for the following functions:
- Reviewing assigned cases and performing all program development with their supervisor.
- Providing direct intervention to clients as per individual programs.
- Providing parent training as per support plans.
- Procedures which are in accordance with company policy.
- Obtaining up-to-date contact information from clients.
- Attending IEP meetings.
- Entering data and writing monthly summaries.
- Attending weekly meetings with their Program Supervisors and monthly meetings with their Coordinators.
5. Behavior Care Provider
Minimum requirements:
- High School Diploma with some Undergraduate Study undertaken (Bachelors degree in Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, or related field preferred)
- 1 year of experience in the field working with populations served by Wellspring. Persons with less than 1 year experience will be determined on a case by case basis depending on education, references, and experience.
Primary responsibilities for the following functions:
- Direct care and supervision of developmentally disabled clients in the client's home or in a structured child care environment.
- Safe and effective care and supervision administered to clients who have a documented history of maladaptive behaviors, which may include aggression, tantrums, self-injurious behavior, running away, and non-compliance.
- Use of strategies to de-escalate maladaptive behaviors based on the recommendations of the Wellspring clinical team and documented in the client's Functional Behavior Analysis (FBA) report.
- Consultation with the Clinical Supervisor to address any areas of concern related to the client's behavior or the family environment that make it difficult to provide safe and effective care.
- Procedures which are in accordance with company policy.
- Obtaining up-to-date contact information from clients.
Hours and workdays vary depending on the need of the client. Behavior Care Providers may have shifts that occur any time during a 24-hour period Monday through Sunday, though typical cases require care in the late afternoons to early evenings on weekdays and between 8am and 10pm on weekends.
